How a dog rescued another stray dog is a very interesting story. It all starts with Danny. He is a local rescuer who works with Safefurr Place Animal Rescue. Danny has rescued dogs all over the area. On this day he was on a mission to save a stray dog named Francis.
Francis was timid and very wary of people. He would quickly leave every time someone would try to approach him. This included Danny.
Danny tried to tempt Francis with treats but the dog would not accept them from him. So, Danny would leave the treats, for him to eat later. Francis was only too happy to gobble down the treats when Danny was not close by.
Danny was determined to rescue Francis so he went to check on Francis every day. On one occasion, when Danny showed up to make sure that Francis was ok, day, he was surprised. Francis was not alone. The dog had a furry friend. He was actually playing with a tan-colored dog.
Initially, the new dog was aggressive. However, Danny knew that it was because the dog was scared. Danny gave Francis’ friend a few treats. Almost immediately, the dog calmed down.
Apparently, the other dog was named Howard. Shortly thereafter, Danny also learned that its owner had abandoned the dog. Already, Howard was much friendlier toward Danny than Francis had ever been. Therefore, Danny decided to focus his attention on Howard instead of Francis.
A Change In His Mission
In other words, Danny was now on a mission to save both dogs. He thought that if he could convince Howard to come with him, Francis would follow.
Danny tempted Howard with dog treats. He hoped to get him to willingly get into the vehicle of his own accord. Once Howard saw the treats, he jumped right in. Francis, however, refused to do so.
In spite of Francis being unwilling to join them at that time, Danny did not give up on the dog. He planned to return for Francis the next day.
What A Surprise Was Waiting For Him the Next Day
When Danny walked out the door the following morning, Francis stood there waiting in his driveway. He tried to lure Francis into the house but he refused to come in.
Francis stayed in Danny’s backyard for two days. Subsequently, on the third day, progress was made. Danny was able to get both Francis and Howard into one kennel. The dogs were thrilled to be united and started to play with one another again. It warmed Danny’s heart to see the two dogs playing. It was just like when he first saw them together.
How A Dog Rescued Another Stray Is Revealed
In conclusion, it appears that Francis followed his friend Howard to Danny’s home. Danny is thankful that he found Howard that day. Through him, he was able to save both dogs.
Francis is now with another rescue organization. Howard is staying with Safefurr Place Animal Rescue. Either dog would be an amazing addition to any family. If someone was interested in adding two furry friends to their family, it would be even better.
