We all know that many Hollywood celebrities have a heart for pets. Often, we see photos of them with their pet while standing in the grocery store line. These stories do not include an unwanted dog.
Some celebrities take their pets with them wherever they go. They even include their pets on their wishlists whenever they announce an engagement.
Paparazzi often follow their pets, and journalists frequently write about them too. The public seems to love stories and photos of celebrities and their pets. Many of them are exotic and expensive.
On the other hand, some celebrities rescue and adopt shelter dogs. One of them is George Clooney, together with his wife, Amal.
Introducing Nate, The Unwanted Dog
Nate is a cute terrier. But, they knew that he was unlikely to be adopted. He was born with a congenital disability that affects his leg and a barrel chest. Nate walks more like a hyena than a normal, domestic dog.
LuvFurMutts Animal Rescue rescued Nate. And they were determined to find him a forever home. Nate needed a family that would accept him unconditionally.
LuvFurMutts Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio, specializing in rescuing small breed dogs. The people at LuvFurMutts Animal Rescue would always take Nate to adoption events. Sadly, no one wanted him.
Some applied to adopt him but changed their minds when they saw him. One potential adopter said that she felt so much pity for Nate that she would feel too depressed if she adopted him.
Meanwhile, celebrity couple George and Amal Clooney were following Nate’s story on social media.
George’s parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, recently lost their beloved pet terrier. Also, they decided that they are emotionally ready to take care of another dog.
George felt that Nate would be the perfect fit for his parents. He showed Nate’s videos to his parents. His parents saw the video. Immediately, they agreed to adopt Nate. They said that Nate could get around just like them!
After nine months, George Clooney’s parents adopted Nate into a loving home!
The Clooneys spoil Nate! He lives with George’s parents in Kentucky and enjoys a beautiful life with his two favorite humans.
